'World No Tobacco Day'

Internal Quality Assurance Cell and NSS department of Bharati Vidyapeeth's Dr. Patangrao Kadam Mahavidyalaya, Sangli observed 'World No Tobacco Day' on 31st May 2021 in virtual mode. The theme for year 2021 is 'Commit to Quit.'

On this occasion, Dr. Chandrashekhar Halingale, Director, Nirmal Vyasan Mukti Kendra, Miraj delivered a talk on the theme. In his talk, he elaborates types of addiction, reasons, and treatment for the same. He also shares the 8D formula by which one can become addiction free. 

Principal Dr. D. G. Kanase Chaired the session. He advised the participants to stay away from all types of addiction. Participants took pledge that, they never do any type of tobacco addiction and motivate others to do the same. 

Dr. V. B. Awale, Program Officer of NSS welcomed and introduced the guests. Dr. A. R. Supale, Coordinator, IQAC offered vote of thanks. Dr. Varsha Kumbhar anchored the event. On this occasion, Dr. Mrs. P. M. Patil, Mr. T. R. Sawant, Faculty members of junior and senior college and students were present.
